It’s Afterschool Appreciation Month and we appreciate our iKids U students!

We are excited to welcome each of our wonderful current and new students to iKids U Central Texas this year! Thank you everyone for a great year to date and happy Afterschool Appreciation Month! We know the after-school hours are just as important as the ones spent in the classroom. That’s why our program is designed to support the whole child, including their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs. We prioritize safety, inclusivity, and engagement in everything we do at iKids U. That’s why we make it a point to encourage each child to feel free to explore and learn to play well with new friends while helping kids embrace being their authentic selves. We love helping kids build a sense of community amongst their peers as well as with our caring educators!

Our goal at iKids U is to help kids foster a love for life-long learning while building a more caring society. We are positive your child will love our iKids U program and will enjoy getting to make new friends with us all afterschool! And we are excited to be a valued part of your extended family as caregivers and educators! We value your feedback, questions, and suggestions to help us make iKids the best program for your family! Employee of the Month!

Meet Brenda, one of our amazing team members at iKids U Central Texas! As a site coordinator, Brenda brings over 5 years of experience in early childhood education to our team. Her passion for working with children is evident in everything she does, from planning fun and engaging activities to creating a warm and welcoming environment where kids feel safe and valued. She loves watching them grow and develop over time, and takes pride in being a part of their journey. When she’s not at work, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family and grandkids, and exploring all the great Mexican food Central Texas has to offer. We’re so lucky to have Brenda on our team, and we know that our students are too! Thank you for all that you do, Brenda! 2023 employees of the month include Mizuki Kurata and Kiana Lusk — way to go!

Click here! We are happy to say ‘WELCOME BACK’ for the first time to so many of our families who have already started booking your children’s places for the upcoming school year! THANK YOU! iKids Central Texas celebrates 2 years in business this Spring, and it’s such an honor to get our 3rd year started by being invited back to your child’s school! This year we’re getting ready to ENHANCE our core Stay & Play program by including a new and improved curriculum with creative, STEM, and movement Enrichment classes, incorporated for every child at most of our schools automatically! This means a savings for your family and more fun built in for your kids!

We will still get a chance to offer our other popular extra classes such as robotics, karate, and cooking for an additional enrichment fee, but for those that prefer to just keep it simple, you can feel confident our aftercare program has just made a big leap in FUN for your kiddo for the upcoming school year! REGISTER RIGHT AWAY TO ENSURE YOUR CHILD’S PLACE as we had waiting lists last year before school started. Please note it’s easiest to re-register with a computer, rather than on your phones. AND, it’s best to book your child’s place NOW for the days you know you’ll need, to guarantee their spot as we are expecting space to sell out again!

REGISTRATION TIPS: New to iKids? Be sure to gather your child’s medical information, including doctor, insurance, allergies etc. and be prepared to take 20 minutes on a computer for your online registration. Our pricing summary range is for the ANNUAL tuition and we also offer convenient installment plans to break your payments into 10 equal installments across the year, which most parents prefer to do! World Autism Acceptance Month!

At iKids, we celebrate each child as their own unique being. We prioritize “Being U at iKids U!” So, during World Autism Acceptance Month and every day, iKids is dedicated to celebrating the different needs, experiences and diversity of the children we serve. As we continue through the end of April, we ask that you help us in this endeavor, and share how you may be supporting Autism! Whether with a sponsored run or volunteer work, we’d love to know if any of our parents have participated in any events in support of Autism. Moreover, the language for this month has shifted from awareness to acceptance, and the new infinity symbol is a wonderful illustration of the cooperation and sharing between the rest of society and individuals with autism. In an effort to further spread acceptance, we’d love to share with you a kid friendly video explaining neurodiversity as it is most easily understood. Feel free to watch it with your kids and get the conversation going!
